• The Old Haa
  • 28 March 2018

We’re looking forward to the Old Haa opening on Sunday 15th April for the 2018 season.

The past few months have been busy getting things ready.

In the Natural History Room we have a very interesting exhibition of photographs of wildlife by Ian Towriess titled ‘Ian’s Wildlife Photos’ .

Our History Room the exhibition this year is ‘Bairns in da Hoose and Oot Aboot’ featuring toys and photographs from the past and the first Art exhibition of the season in the gallery is by Martin Mullay.

The permanent exhibition in the Lower History Room remains a showcase of objects and artefacts from the past.

The tearoom will be open with a great selection of home made ‘fancies’ to enjoy with a cup of tea and the shop has a wide selection of crafts on sale.

Our opening times are Monday to Thursday 10-4pm, Saturday 10-4pm and Sunday 11-5pm, closed Fridays.

The local Yell Community helps to raise funds, and although admission to the museum is free, donations are always very welcome.
