In this bright and airy space the Old Haa regularly hosts exhibitions by artists and craftspeople with local connections.
During the season there will be six exhibitions, each one running for a three week session.
Berenice Carrington, an artist from Australia, spent some time in the Old Haa making drawings of some of the artefacts. Her ethnographic drawings, A Collection of Kinship, can be found on her website.
Previous exhibitors have included Yell Arts Group, Jeanette Nowak, Colleen Thomson, Mike Mcdonnell, local schools, Shona Skinner, Nicholas Barnham, Avril Thomson Smith and many others.
The Old Haa Trustees invite artists, with local connections, to approach them for consideration for forthcoming exhibitions by email at [email protected].
