The Old Haa

The Trust promotes an interest in local history, natural history and arts and crafts. As the first independent museum in Shetland to be fully accredited with the Museums Galleries Scotland, the Old Haa is an established venue for the display of art and craft, houses a great collection of local artefacts, and provides a welcome social focus for locals and visitors.

In the award winning garden to the rear of the museum, which is wheelchair accessible, and open all year round, visitors can relax and admire the beautifully tended flower beds and the unique Inuksuit statues.

The Old Haa Trust is a registered Charity, No SCO01356. The local Yell Community helps to raise funds, and although admission to the museum is free, donations are always welcome.
